01, or Sormesi koskettavat is the first release by Pahat Kengät. 01's themes revolve around intimacy and physical touch. The two pieces on the release reflect on two very different reactions to intimacy, with the first piece focusing on fear and anxiety caused by vulnerability, and the second one being about trust and safety in the intimate presence of another person.

01 is the first part of a trilogy of releases, all dealing with themes of body image, vulnerability and intimacy and how these themes manifest in different environments and situations.

01 was recorded between October 2016 and January 2017 on a Tascam 244 Portastudio. Equipment used on the album include Korg MS20m, Korg Monotribe, Yamaha PS20 and GEM Rodeo 37.
